About SEGS

SEGS (Syndicat Européen de Gestion des Sinistres) is an association of Insurance and Reinsurance service providers, managing and/or advising on management of both active and run-off claims portfolios in France and Continental Europe.

Why was SEGS created ?

The current economic and regulatory environment favours the outsourcing of these services.

It is now a major strategic choice for players in the insurance and reinsurance market, in order to improve their efficiency whilst reducing costs and increasing flexibility.

 As a result of this evolution, we felt the need to group together the service providers within the market into an association of professionals.
